Closing for the Holidays

Hi Everyone,

As you can imagine, I’ve had a wonderful 2012. Not only did I spend it building up The Signed Page and my new publishing press, Grim Oak Press, I spent it recovering from 2011’s cancer diagnosis. I’m stronger both physically and emotionally. The medical debt I have is slowly dwindling—the bill collectors are happy about that, as you can imagine—and I’m happy to end this year on a super positive note.

More customers ordered this year from The Signed Page than any other year before it. The authors who are stopping by are being swamped with books—a problem they love to have. And I think I’ve done a good job in keeping current with quality books and quality customer service.

For the holidays, I plan on doing a bit of traveling, seeing friends, family, and new places. I will also spend the next 50 days or so writing. I have begun writing the sequel to The Dark Thorn, titled The Everwinter Wraith, but the next two months will see nary an author stopping by, giving me much needed time to write.

Therefore, The Signed Page will be taking orders for its remaining stock up until December 10th.

After that, I won’t be around to ship books out until after the New Year.

People who place their orders by December 10th should receive their books before Christmas, especially if they select Priority Mail (and you should do that if the order contains a gift).

Of course, people can continue to place their pre-orders for the titles in early 2013. Here is a list of those titles:

Thank you for being there for me. I couldn’t have had such a successful 2012 with you, readers and collectors. I hope 2013 gives us more great books to read!

And I hope I can get those books signed for you!

Happy Holidays!
