The Signed Page is trying something new!
For almost seventeen years, I have received email from frustrated international customers who feel like they are being ripped off when ordering books from The Signed Page and Grim Oak Press. Why do they feel this way? Because the cost of shipping books internationally is usually more than the cost of the book. I have always charged exactly what USPS.com charges me — and they are the cheapest shipper for books — but it is still way too expensive.
The world has caught up to The Signed Page in some interesting ways in the last few years though and new markets have opened up. One of them is the Quill and Claw in the UK, a signed book specialty online bookstore similar in scope to The Signed Page but set in the UK.
After much consideration, I have decided to partner with Quill and Claw to bulk ship Signed Page copies of US books to the UK. Bulk shipping dramatically decreases the cost of shipping individual books. We are going to test this out on The Skaar Invasion by Terry Brooks. And if it works out well for all parties involved, we will supply the other books.
What exactly does this mean?
- If you live in the UK, pre-order The Skaar Invasion signed by Terry Brooks HERE
- If you are a UK customer and have already ordered the book from The Signed Page, email me and request a refund so you can order from Quill and Claw
In this way, I hope to better serve customers of The Signed Page!

PS: By the way, the inverse is true. The Signed Page may start carrying signed UK books that Quill and Claw supplies us. First up? Mark Lawrence Red Sister and Grey Sister! Details on that coming next week!
