Terry Brooks Signing

Friday, August 27th, 2010

Terry signed all of the copies of Bearers of the Black Staff ordered before August 26th as well as extra stock for people come late to the signing. It took him several hours since the amount was large, but he was thrilled with the amount of people taking advantage of The Signed Page since he isn’t touring this year.

Here is a picture taken after he had finished:

I am currently shipping the books out as quickly as I can. It is hampered by a sudden occurrence of bursitis in my right elbow. It is slowing me down but I am doing the best I can, despite my MD telling me not to do anything with it. What do MDs know, right? There are fans needing their Terry Brooks fix! Tomorrow all of the domestic multiple-book orders not waiting for another book will be shipped out, about 80 books in all. I might be able to get some of the individual books out too. Just depends on the arm. The rest of the books will be picked up by the post office Monday, Tuesday, and probably Wednesday next week.

In short, I am doing the best I can with the ailing arm I have! Ha!

Just be patient and you’ll get your book soon. I promise.

A Photo of Boxed Books

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

Here is a photo to prove to all of you Carey fans that yes, I am indeed working my tail off:

Boxed Jacqueline Carey Books

I have 50 domestic books left to ship and 28 international orders left to ship.  The last of the domestic books will be picked up by the post office on Thursday morning after the books in this photo are picked up tomorrow.  The international books will ship out on Friday and Saturday.

Please keep in mind again that writing me emails asking where your book is only impedes me getting it to you all that faster.

Robin Hobb Signing / New Signing

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

Yesterday Robin Hobb stopped by The Signed Page to sign copies of her new book, Dragon Keeper.  As always, Robin was a delight.  She signed everyone’s book and we talked for about two hours on anything and everything.

Here is a picture:

She then informed me that Dragon Haven is coming out in May, the second part of Dragon Keeper.  To have a signed set available, I have placed Dragon Keeper back up for ordering alongside Dragon Haven.  Feel free to order both.

All domestic copies of Dragon Keeper not waiting for forthcoming signed books are already boxed up and will be picked up today.   All international ordered books are boxed up and will be shipped out tomorrow.

More soon!  Stay tuned!

Here are new additions for The Signed Page Library, these pictures from Shawn (different one):

Shawn writes: I read lots of science fiction and fantasy, but only collect a few authors. Patrick Rothfuss, Lawrence Watt-Evans, and of course Terry Brooks. Every book on the shelf is 1st edition 1st printing. Most of the Brooks books are autographed. Both Name of the Winds are. Several Watt-Evans books are.
