The Signed Page was begun by Shawn C. Speakman, webmaster for Terry Brooks and avid speculative fiction reader. He grew up in the wilds of southweset Washington where writers never visited, and upon moving to Seattle decided to help anyone unable to get a signed or personalized book—people who lived outside of the touring market—the chance to do so.

After working in a bookstore where he met many more writers and learned a great deal about the publishing industry, he decided to take that knowledge and help others.

Shawn is always available to take any questions or concerns from customers or potential customers. Inquiries and general feedback of any kind are also more than welcome. Some of the best features of The Signed Page have come about from customers sending in their suggestions.
