New Signings: Lawrence & Speakman

Hi All,

I am pleased to announce two new items, one of which is very close to my heart.

First, Mark Lawrence and artist Tom Roberts have agreed to sign colossal cards of Tom’s artwork that has been used for Mark’s new novel, The Book That Wouldn’t Burn. Seeing as Mark lives in the United Kingdom, it is difficult having him for a book signing, and I certainly can’t ship books through the mail at such distances without the books becoming damaged. But given the success of my colossal cards these last few years, I thought it would be fun to produce one using Tom’s beautiful library artwork and have them double-signed.

In short, if you place an order for the novel, you’ll receive an unsigned copy of the book along with a double-signed colossal card. And before anyone asks, no, you cannot only buy the colossal card.

Next up is a chapbook for The King-Killing Queen, my forthcoming new novel from Grim Oak Press and Skybound Entertainment (The Walking Dead) that ties into my Annwn Cycle trilogy. The chapbook is the first 48 pages of the novel. I’ve produced 750 of these to hand out at various 2023 SF&F conventions. But I’ve taken 100 of them and placed them on The Signed Page for those of you who cannot attend one of the cons. I’ll number these 100 like I did on The King Must Fall anthology, and, if ordered on their own receipt, they will ship out in early March. An early first look at my newest creation.

Also, be sure to join https://www.thekingkillingqueen.com. Why? Read my newest blog HERE to learn how you can acquire a free enamel pin based on Merlin’s bookstore in The Dark Thorn!

And as always, if you have questions, just ask. I’m always around.

New Signings: Brian Herbert & Shawn Speakman

Hi All,

Got two new titles to mention here!

I’m super excited to offer the new Deluxe Edition of Dune by Frank Herbert. No, this will not be signed by Frank. It will be signed by his son, Brian, who wrote an introduction for this gorgeous book. And it is absolutely beautiful. Brian has posted photos of it online on his Facebook page and Twitter account. Those photos are below! This is a super rare signing. Luckily, I live close to Brian, so it is easy to get together and sign some books! If you love Dune, this is a great edition to have. Especially with the much anticipated movie coming December 2020!

The other signing is for a chapbook of Song of the Fell Hammer, my first epic fantasy novel. The chapbook features the first five chapters from the novel. Grim Oak Press is publishing the full novel as a hardcover soon — you can find details on that HERE — but this 64-page chapbook is pretty rare. I only produced 125 of them and handed 100 of them out at Dragon Con this year. I kept 25, to put up for sale on The Signed Page and pay for the entire print run. When these are gone, they are gone!

Happy Friday!
Shawn
