Pre-Order Now: Wild Sign by Patricia Briggs

Wild Sign by Patricia Briggs will publish in March 2021!

We had such a fun time seeing Patty and Ann a few months ago for Smoke Bitten that Ann reached out to me last week and asked if I’d put up the pre-order link for Wild Sign, the sixth Alpha & Omega novel. Cover art by Dan Dos Santos was released and I thought, “Sure, let’s do it!”

So HERE you go! You can pre-order your personalized or signed copy of Wild Sign now!

Also, I have added a new payment gateway. No longer do you have to use PayPal if you do not want to. This website is secure and I’ve added a way for you to directly enter your credit card information using our e-commerce platform. No third party gateway if you like! So that’s great. Use whichever gateway you like though.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend reading something great!

Pre-Order Now: Smoke Bitten by Patricia Briggs

It is time to test something!

For almost two decades, I usually post pre-order books no more than 4 months before the publication date. I do this for several reasons, the best being I don’t want to deal with mailing address changes all of the time.

But posting The Illustrated Assassin’s Apprentice signed by Robin Hobb so early has resulted in a lot more pre-orders coming into the website. This is good for business, obviously. And when Patricia Briggs’s assistant Ann let me know that the new Mercy Thompson book’s cover was going to be revealed and if I wanted to place the pre-order page up now, I almost said no. Then I realized we could test out the earlier pre-order period again. And see how it all went.

Mercy Thompson is back in Smoke Bitten! Pre-order HERE NOW! And Patty will be signing in March, likely the day before the book’s release. Here are more details about Smoke Bitten:

Mercy Thompson, car mechanic and shapeshifter, faces a threat unlike any other in this thrilling entry in the #1 New York Times bestselling series.

I am Mercedes Athena Thompson Hauptman.

My only “superpowers” are that I turn into a thirty-five pound coyote and fix Volkswagens. But I have friends in odd places and a pack of werewolves at my back. It looks like I’m going to need them.

Centuries ago, the fae dwelt in Underhill–until she locked her doors against them. They left behind their great castles and troves of magical artifacts. They abandoned their prisoners and their pets. Without the fae to mind them, those creatures who remained behind roamed freely through Underhill wreaking havoc. Only the deadliest survived.

Now one of those prisoners has escaped. It can look like anyone, any creature it chooses. But if it bites you, it controls you. It lives for chaos and destruction. It can make you do anything–even kill the person you love the most. Now it is here, in the Tri-Cities. In my territory.

It won’t, can’t, remain.

Not if I have anything to say about it.
