Welcome to The Signed Page, a website devoted to bringing signed and personalized books to those fans who are unable to meet with their favorite touring writers. An author can only visit so many cities per book release, leaving many fans worldwide unable to attain a signed or personalized copy of their favorite author's new book for their collection at a reasonable price.
The Signed Page is the answer to that problem.
For eight years, The Signed Page has given fans of autographed books the opportunity to fill their collections with the best speculative fiction has to offer. To order, click the book links at the left; to learn more about the process, read the Ordering and FAQ pages.

- David Anthony Durham, the author of Acacia, is signing copies of the sequel, The Other Lands! Acacia made a huge splash and The Other Lands continues the story. David will be signing only a few dozen copies so first come first served!
- George R. R. Martin contacted me a few days ago with news he had received new hardcover copies of Inside Straight from the publisher. When a paperback is released the hardcover is sold to bookstore bargain bins and to the author at a huge discount. George thought the fans of The Signed Page might be interested in some of these books, signed by George of course. I told him I'm sure some would! Since he has several hundred copies, The Signed Page will offer these signed hardcovers at a discount through June. After that they will return to cover price ($24.95).
- Artist Todd Lockwood has once again offered to sign copies of the new R.A. Salvatore books he does the artwork for. This year it is The Dame and The Ghost King! Note: These two books come out in different months. If you order both on the same receipt both will ship in October.
- Robert V.S. Redick has signed and returned some of the copies of The Red Wolf Conspiracy. Expect your order soon.
- Aaron Allston has signed the copies of Star Wars: Outcast and upon returning to me have now been shipped out to all customers. There are only 6 copies left.
- Robin Furth, under deadline, still has the copies of the Dark Tower hardcover graphic novels. When they are returned I will update the website immediately and begin shipping them out.
May 30, 2009
- A Status Update: The Dark Tower hardcovers have been shipped to Robin Furth as of a few days ago. When she has an opportunity to sign them she will and will ship them back. I don't know how long that will take but the most current update about them will be posted here at all times. The copies of Star Wars: Outcast have been shipped to Aaron Allston. Aaron is doing well after his heart attack and he'll be signing the books as soon as he can and shipping them back. The copies of The Red Wolf Conspiracy have just come in and Robert Redick will be signing them next week. More is coming, so stay tuned!
May 13, 2009
- China Mieville will be signing copies of The City & the City on June 5th. China is only touring six cities this time out and The City & the City is getting rave reviews. And just from the first chapter I have a feeling this will be a Hugo Award nominated book.
May 3, 2009
- Terry Brooks will be signing copies of A Princess of Landover in August 2009. He will also be signing copies of the new trade paperback Landover omnibuses—Volumes I & II—and the newly updated The World of Shannara hardcover.
April 27, 2009
- The Warded Man is now being signed by Peter Brett. He has the books and will be returning them soon. In a show of fun collectibility, Terry Brooks will also be signing the copies. He supplied the cover quote for The Warded Man.
- Terry will also sign the copies of The Red Wolf Conspiracy by Robert VS Redick, another book he loved and supplied a cover quote for. The Red Wolf Conspiracy is released tomorrow but my book distributor did not have enough copies. When the additional copies come in they will be sent to Robert for signing. Exciting!
- Get ready for a bunch of signings being posted! Stay tuned!
April 2, 2009
- Aaron Allston, the author of Star Wars: Outcast, had a heart attack while on tour. He was not able to stop by The Signed Page to sign the copies of the new book, obviously. The Signed Page wishes Aaron the quickest of recoveries and I hope he can relax and get healed up quickly!
Those you who ordered Star Wars: Outcast have some options. You can 1) have your order reimbursed, or 2) be given a 20% discount and receive an unsigned book, or 3) wait for Aaron to recover and sign the book via mail. Contact Shawn if you wish #1 or #2.
March 20, 2009
- Star Wars author Aaron Allston is stopping by in a week for a late online signing for Star Wars: Outcast, the newest Luke Skywalker tale! Aaron launches the new series Fate of the Jedi.
February 22, 2009
- Due to the amount of copies already ordered of Naamah's Kiss and Santa Olivia, The Signed Page is no longer accepting personalized orders for those books. You can, however, still order Only Signed copies of both books! Jacqueline will be signing the books in late June.
- The Drood signing took place without a problem but almost every single dust jacket on the books I received from the publisher were rubbed, just like The Terror dust jackets were last year. This of course sucks. There are a few things you can do: 1) find a non-rubbed dust jacket in a local bookstore and swap, or 2) I can reimburse a couple of dollars, or 3) you can send the book back for a full refund. For my own copy I went out and found a better dust jacket, although the best one I could find in Seattle wasn't flawless either. If you would like to discuss any of the three options I have written down here, definitely write me an email and we can try to work something out.
February 13, 2009
- Dan Simmons and Christopher Moore have signed their respective copies of Drood and Fool this week. Next up, Lamentation by Ken Scholes on Saturday. I will be working at getting all of these copies out over the next week. Having three signings like this all in the same week will definitely test my stamina this weekend and into next week, but I will make it happen. If you are wondering where your order is, please don't write me and ask; if you haven't received a tracking number via email yet it means your order hasn't shipped yet and is not lost.

The Dark Tower Hardcovers signed by Robin Furth
Those of you who really know me know what a huge Dark Tower fan I am. While at the NY Comic Con, I met Stephen King Dark Tower research assistant and all around wonderful woman Robin Furth, who knows more about Stephen King lore than anyone! Robin has been plotting the Marvel Dark Tower comic books series and soon, in the Fall 2009, she will be plotting and writing the Del Rey comic book adaptation of The Talisman, another Stephen King work. Robin, who lives in the UK, will be signing the hardcover collections of each Dark Tower series in April (The Gunslinger Born, The Long Road Home and Treachery, and later, in the fall, the next Dark Tower comic book arc like Richard Isanove did with The Gunslinger Born.
Naamah's Kiss and Santa Olivia signed by Jacqueline Carey
As many of you already know, Jacqueline is one of my favorite writers out there. We've known each other now for years and years and I look forward to talking to her every year. Her publisher has sent her to Seattle numerous years in a row only because you the fans demand her visit The Signed Page. This year we are doing something a bit different though. Jacqueline will be signing copies of two different books -- Naamah's Kiss and Santa Olivia. Naamah's Kiss is the first book in a new series, so those of you who haven't read Jacqueline's work but might be interested in it, here's the place for you to start. It is a hardcover with a beautiful cover. Santa Olivia is a trade paperback and also has a beautiful cover and is quite different than what Jacqueline has written before -- it is her take on comic book superheroes and the classic werewolf myth. Jacqueline will personalize only 50 copies, so first come first served!
White Witch, Black Curse signed by Kim Harrison
Like urban fantasy? Jim Butcher? Laurell K. Hamilton? Vicki Pettersson? Then Kim Harrison is for you! The Hollows, Kim's bestselling series about an ass-kicking witch and bounty hunter, is one of the more original urban fantasies out there, and her readership and praise increase daily. I also love that the majority of her Hollows titles are twisted titles from Clint Eastwood movies. Love that. Anyway, with White Witch, Black Curse, she continues the story of Rachel after a period where her life has been shattered and her past comes back to haunt her. Literally. I also met Kim at the NY Comic Con and she is a super fun and cool writer, one if you guys haven't read you probably should!
The Warded Man by Peter V. Brett
The next two books are garnering great exposure as the best debut novels of last year in the UK. Now they are coming to the US. The Warded Man, originally published as The Painted Man in the UK, will be published in March. It is a book Terry Brooks decided to blurb. He rarely does that, only giving blurbs to books he deems worthy (like The Briar King, The Golden Compass, and The Name of the Wind). That should tell you something about The Warded Man. It is a unique story set in a high fantasy setting. Peter V. Brett has already received praise in the UK, and like Ken Scholes has been getting huge buzz here in the US! This could be one of three great debuts from new fantasy writers this year, so keep an eye on it.
The Red Wolf Conspiracy by Robert V.S. Redick
Along with Lamentation by Ken Scholes and The Warded Man by Peter V. Brett, The Red Wolf Conspiracy will be one of the best novels released in the US this year. Robert V.S. Redick, an academic and dry-witted man who reminds me a lot of Steve Erikson, has written a book that Terry Brooks also blurbed because he thought it that good. As I said earlier about Terry, that is a rarity. Red Wolf was released in the UK first to great praise, many people calling it Gormenghast on the Sea. Imagine a sailing ship as large as the Titanic holding an entire town of people, on the sea, trying to prevent war! Awesome.
The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks
Several weeks ago I ordered 30 copies of The Night Angel Trilogy from the Science Fiction Book Club. In the Fall 2008, Brent Weeks released a paperback a month for three months, releasing his entire trilogy in a short span. The SFBC then collected the three books in a single omnibus hardcover. The Night Angel Trilogy was one of the better releases of 2008 and I thought it would be fun to offer a collected hardcover to the fans who might want to read all three books and have them sit nice on the shelf. Well, that idea when awry. The SFBC does an absolutely horrendous job of shipping books and only six copies of the book survived to my high expectations. The other 14 are slightly dinged in different ways, from bumped spines to crunched corners to minor dust jacket tears. Since I can't sell those 14 at a collectible price and they are not signed ayway, I am offering the collected hardcover to you guys for $3 plus shipping. All 1300 pages of it. I just want to get them into hands who will read them and not recycle bins! So if you want to read Brent Weeks and do it cheaply, there you go!
January 19, 2009
- First, welcome to the New Year! Hopefully we will have another good one, offering the best in signed and personalized books for cover price to you all!

December 22, 2008
- Kim Harrison will be signing her new urban fantasy, White Witch, Black Curse, on March 2, 2009! For those of you who enjoy the work of Vicki Pettersson, Richelle Meade, Jim Butcher or Charlaine Harris, Kim's work is right up your alley—probably a dark alley at that!
December 14, 2008
- The first of the 2009 online signings have been posted! Some of them are limited in quantity, so order accordingly.
- Due to the odd icy weather here in Seattle, those of you who have ordered Terry Brooks books in the last two weeks will not be receiving them before Christmas. Terry is ice-locked at his home and can't leave; I can't drive in ice to reach him with the books. When we get a break here in Seattle and the ice melts in his neighborhood, the books will be signed. If you'd like to cancel your order contact me and I will make sure that it happens. If you merely have a question, don't hesitate to write and ask.
December 3, 2008
- Terry Brooks has had jury duty all this week—go figure—but he plans on coming over today to sign the omnibuses and his last hardcover, The Gypsy Morph. The books will be shipped as quickly as possible. Once they are, I have three or four signings to post for the beginning of 2009, along with a change in shipping procedure that will save money for all of you in these trying economic times. More soon!
November 12, 2008
- All domestic and international copies of The Hero of Ages signed by Brandon Sanderson and The Wyrmling Horde signed by David Farland have now been shipped. Expect your orders soon. October 27, 2008
- The Signed Page has gathered 10 copies of Brisingr signed by Christopher Paolini. If you would like a copy of this pristine $33.00 book, write Shawn an email at shawn@signedpage.com. The first 10 will be sent a link to order the book. Cheers!
- Todd Lockwood will be signing the copies of The Orc King and The Pirate King tomorrow. The books have already been signed by RA Salvatore. The Stowaway has also been signed by both RA & Geno Salvatore.
October 11, 2008
- Neil Gaiman has signed a few copies of his new book, The Graveyard Book! Get this great Halloween book while you can!

- All domestic and international copies of Paul of Dune triple-signed by Herbert, Anderson and Youll have been shipped, as have been all domestic and international copies of Toll the Hounds.
September 30, 2008
- Artist Stephen Youll has now signed the copies of Paul of Dune, resulting in a book that is triple-signed by the two writers (Brian Herbert & Kevin J. Anderson) and the cover artist (Youll)! I only have 10 remaining. Those who have already ordered should expect their books shortly!
September 24, 2008
- David Farland will be signing copies of The Wyrmling Horde, the next novel in the Runelords series, on November 4th. Likewise on November 4th, Brandon Sanderson, the scribe on the final Wheel of Time novel, will be signing copies of his new Mistborn novel The Hero of Ages! This is a rare treat for The Signed Page so order today!
September 23, 2008
- RA Salvatore and his son Geno Salvatore will be signing copies of The Pirate King, The Orc King and The Stowaway on October 14th! First come, first served, as usual. RA and Geno will be double-signing their novel, The Stowaway, and artist Todd Lockwood will be double-signing on the Transitions books with RA Salvatore!
- Steven Erikson signed the copies of Toll the Hounds and Reaper's Gale yesterday and all domestic and foreign signed copies will be shipped out today. Those who ordered copies double-signed by both Erikson and artist Todd Lockwood will have to wait a week; Todd is busy finishing up a cover and he won't be able to make it to the signing until next Monday.
Here is a picture of Steve after his signing:

September 21, 2008
- Brian Herbert and Kevin Anderson stopped by on September 16th and signed all copies of Paul of Dune. All domestic and international orders of the double-signed copy have been shipped.
Those of you who ordered the triple-signed copies (Herbert/Anderson/Youll) will have to wait longer. The copies are now on their way to Stephen Youll, the artist, who will sign the copies already signed by Herbert/Anderson. This may take a few weeks, which was denoted on the website when the signing date was listed as "late-September."
Here are a few pictures from the event on Tuesday:

September 12, 2008
- Terry Brooks has signed a number of his US hardcover Shannara Omnibuses.
September 6, 2008
- All domestic and international copies of The Gypsy Morph signed by Terry Brooks have been shipped.
- Since Toll the Hounds will not be released until the middle of the month now by Tor Books, Steven Erikson and Todd Lockwood will instead be signing when the books are available on September 23rd.
September 2, 2008
- All domestic copies of The Gypsy Morph signed by Terry Brooks and not ordered together on the same receipt with other forthcoming signed books have left me as of today. Expect your order soon. International orders will be shipped over this week.

August 28, 2008
- Terry Brooks signed all copies of The Gypsy Morph this afternoon. The signing went very well and Terry was a delight as always. I will be shipping them out over the course of the next week. That will go faster if you wait to receive your tracking number via email as opposed to writing in for it. I do have several extra copies and next week I will contact those people who have shown interest in them.
August 15, 2008
- The Gypsy Morph, signed by Terry Brooks, is now currently past the signing limit. If you'd like to put your name down on a list for a possible few remaining copies, please feel free to write Shawn.
