Signing Update: Robin Hobb Begins Signing

Hi Everyone,

Robin Hobb visited The Signed Page yesterday and began signing pre-ordered books.

In short, there are a lot of orders. A lot of books. A lot of personalizing, which takes time. Your enthusiasm for Robin and her work is absolutely humbling and truly fun to see. She is thrilled by all of you, and we chatted a lot about how fortunate we are as fantasy writers with the best readers.

Robin signed all day. We did not finish signing. We managed to get about half of the personalized orders signed, the orders with more than 3 books. These will begin shipping next week. Right now, Robin plans on signing again on Monday to finish the personalized books and then sign orders without personalized books. We'll see how far we get that day.

Then Robin leaves for Wondercon March 26th through the 30th. She won't be able to sign during that time period, obviously. But when she comes back, we will address any orders that have not yet been signed.

In other news, we still don't have copies of Fool's Errand. The title was out of print so we are just waiting on the next printing to come into the Penguin Random House warehouse. I have created a placeholder date of April 21st on the website for the next signing date too. Any orders from the last ten days that have personalizations will be signed no later than that date. More news on that after Robin signs on Monday and we see where we are.
