Shipping Update: When Will Winter Lost Ship?

Shipping Update: When Will Winter Lost Ship?

Hi Patricia Briggs Fan,

I have an update for you. Last weekend, Patricia Briggs and Dan Dos Santos stopped by The Signed Page warehouse to sign 804 copies of the new Mercy book, Winter Lost. It took 11 hours but there were a lot of laughs along the way making it feel much shorter. I love them so much. They are just a riot.

Then I got sick. It wasn't COVID as I tested three times. It also turned out not to be strep, as I went into the clinic with a super sore throat and got swabbed. Just some random virus that wiped me out to near fatigue every day.

This has set me back a bit. While I can't legally ship Winter Lost out until this coming Monday due to the Strict-On-Sale date, I was hoping to have all orders boxed and ready to be picked up then. That won't be happening due to the illness.

That said, it won't be too much longer. Today, I am going into the warehouse to get all of the boxes built and bubblewrap pulled for those 804 books. My 5 year old son's birthday party is tomorrow; Father's Day is Sunday. Then on Monday, I will begin shipping. And with some help from my Grim Oak Press friends, I hope to be able to ship at least 200 books a day. So all books should be in the mail during release week. It's about the best I can do.

When your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information. That's how you'll know your order has shipped. Please don't write asking me where your book is: That only slows the shipping down as I have to respond.

We'll get there. You'll get your Winter Lost. And all will be right in the world. Except for Mercy, of course!

With Magic,

Shawn
