Answer: I wanted a hardcover that matches the design and art seen in the newest Naomi Novik hardcover title, The Summer War.
Question: Will you produce Spinning Silver with a hardcover too?
Answer: If this hardcover sells well, you bet.
Question: Do these books have original artwork in them?
Answer: Yes, every chapter is illustrated by the amazing Donato Giancola, using the same artwork originally published in the limited Grim Oak Press special edition of Uprooted.
Question: Will these books be like Grim Oak Press books?
Answer: No. Grim Oak Press uses high-end materials like cloth/leather boards, sewn-in ribbon, foil, dust jacket embossments, special endpapers, etc. These books will have acid-free paper and be Smyth-sewn for lasting bindings though. Also, a foiled dust jacket. Made to last, made to be read.
Question: Will this book be numbered or lettered?
Answer: No, maintaining a number/letter list so people can match is too difficult for a one-person effort like The Signed Page. The title page will state these are limited to a certain amount though.
Question: Will you ever produce a second printing?
Answer: Never. This is your one chance to get this book. Make it count.
Question: These are limited then?
Answer: Yes, I can only produce a maximum of 2000 copies.
