When Terry Brooks and his publisher Del Rey Books began planning events for The Last Druid and its chronological end of the Shannara, they mulled a lot of cool things. Everyone agreed that Terry should write a retrospective story that would span the 40 years of Shannara. Terry wrote it. Accompanying it, Del Rey decided to create an Honorary Druid coin for those who attended the virtual event.

Del Rey Books sent me these items in bulk and they were included with the Shannara Con copies of The Last Druid. But I've had a box of the retrospective pamphlets and a box of coins sitting in my garage for a few years and it is time for them to find worthy homes instead of taking up space.
